THE manager of an out-of-school club in the Borders has admitted embezzling more than £9,000.
Sixty-one-year-old Alison McWilliam pleaded guilty to stealing the cash while she was running The Big Space at Melrose Primary School.
The offence happened at her home in Chapel Street, Selkirk, between July and August last year.

The total sum involved was £9,264.16.
McWilliam pleaded guilty to embezzlement by letter at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Sentence was deferred until April 19 for a personal appearance.
