A BORDERS man has admitted a charge of culpable and reckless conduct.
Forty-year-old John Muir, of Hawick, concealed a bladed article on his person and did not declare it when searched by a police officer putting him at risk to injury.
The offence happened at a house in Chay Blyth Place on March 31 last year.
Muir pleaded guilty to a second charge of threatening or abusive behaviour en-route to Hawick Police Station Custody Centre and Borders General Hospital.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until April 25 for the production of background reports.
