FOLLOWING on from the first live in-person coffee concert in December, West Linton is set to host its second concert next weekend.

The festive performance by Twogether Duo last year at West Linton Village Centre will be followed up by JKL Duo at the Village Centre on April 23 from 3-4.30pm.

JKL Duo is a Scottish/Italian pair based in Glasgow formed of Kerry Lynch (flute) and Jacopo Lazzaretti (classical guitar) who met in 2015 during Jacopo’s Erasmus year in Glasgow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The duo are currently touring Scotland with their debut album The International Poet, which features music inspired the works of Robert Burns.

The concert begins at 3pm with solo performances by Jacopo, then an interval with coffee, tea and homebaking. The concert will then recommence with The International Poet programme.

The West Linton Coffee Concert series is possible thanks to a grant from the CAF Tourle Foundation.

The concert is free, however, spaces are limited so booking is advised.
