The offence happened at a house in Hawick when he was 15 years old
BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Borders teenager who admitted assaulting a woman.
The 17-year-old male – who cannot be named for legal reasons – pleaded guilty to punching the woman to the head and knocking her to the floor to her injury and her permanent disfigurement.
The offence happened at a house in Borthwick Court, Hawick, on August 12, 2020, when he was 15 years old at the time.
Sentence was deferred until May 3.
