JED-FOREST increased their lead at the top of the Kings of the Sevens tournament with their third win in the last four events in the Harris Trust Selkirk Sevens at Philiphaugh yesterday.
Jed took the honours after a hugely entertaining day of sevens rugby in the Borders, beating hosts Selkirk in the final.
Melrose who started the day in second place lost in the quarter-finals.

These results leave Jed 16-points clear at the top of the K7 table with Selkirk in second place after leapfrogging Melrose.
With only one tournament left, Jed can't be caught and will therefore be crowned Kings of the Sevens after next week's tournament whih they host.
