Emergency services are at the scene of a crash between two card on the A698 road between Denholm and Jedburgh.
The crash took place shortly before 4pm.
The road is currently closed.
Scottish Borders Council sent a message to parents via facebook to say the school bus would be running later than usual.
Police Scotland have been contacted for more information.
At 5.20pm a police spokesperson said: "Around 3.45pm,police received a report of a road crash involved two vehicles on the A698 between Jedburgh and Denholm. Emergency services are currently on the scene dealing with the incident and the road is currently blocked."
UPDATE 9pm Road reopened. Police Scotland say that further information is being released at this time.
