A 22-YEAR-OLD Borders man who admitted possessing bestiality images over a five-year period has been admonished at Selkirk Sheriff Court after being of good behaviour for the past 12 months.
George Forsyth had previously pleaded guilty to having more than 200 films of extreme pornography featuring sexual activity between people and animals.
The films were on electronic devices seized from his Murrayfield home in the village of Gordon in February 2020.

The offence dated back to 2015.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow highlighted how his client had been of good behaviour over the past year and urged an admonition.
Sheriff Peter Paterson told Forsyth he would now appreciate the seriousness of his actions with the case hanging over him.
