BORDERS Buses have warned passengers to expect ‘severe disruption’ on Sunday May 29 2022 due to the Edinburgh Marathon with a number of services forced to follow diversions.

Services 51 X62 an X95 will be affected.

These buses will be required to take the following route.

Citybound: 51 and X95 will take the usual route to Cameron Toll.

They will then divert to Lady Road, Esslemont Road, right onto Mayfield Road, Causewayside, Hope Park Crescent, Buccleuch Street, Potterrow, Teviot Place, George IV Bridge for normal routes X95 to the Edinburgh Bus Station and the 51 to Waterloo Place.

The X62 will take the normal route to Liberton Road, left via Esslemont Road, right onto Mayfield Road, Causewayside, Hope Park Crescent , Buccleuch Street, Potterrow, Teviot Place, George IV Bridge for normal routes to the Edinburgh Bus Station.

The same route in reverse for X62 at 9.55am and 10.55am and X95 at 10.40.

The disruption is anticipated between 8am and noon.

Borders Buses have issued an apology to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
