A BORDERS man who admitted two charges involving indecent images of children has been ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
Darren Bolam, 41, of Kelso, pleaded guilty to the offences which happened at a house in Morebattle between March 5 and April 22 last year.
Alasdair Fay, prosecuting, told Jedburgh Sheriff Court that intelligence was received by the police and a warrant executed.
Three category A movies involving females aged between 12 and 14 were found on one device.

On another device there was one category A movie and two category C movies involving girls aged between 10 and 12.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow said a relatively low number of images had been recovered from a hard drive and mobile.
Bolam was made subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act for five years.
The Community Pay Back Order involving the unpaid work was imposed as an alternative to custody and the hard drive and mobile phone were forfeited.
