A 29-YEAR-OLD man who admitted two domestic-related offences has been placed on high tariff structured deferred sentence.
Jerome Starkey pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at a house in Allars Crescent, Hawick, on January 29.
He also admitted assaulting his partner by seizing hold of her by the throat and pushing her against a wall causing her to fall to the ground.
Starkey of Tower Knowe, Hawick, had sentence deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until August 1.
