Police say quantities of cocaine and cannabis worth a combined estimated value of around £5,500 were recovered in Hawick on Friday.
It follows search of addresses in Boonraw Road, Burnfoot Road, McLaren Court, Queens Drive and Ruberslaw Road, according to officers.
Both the man and woman are expected to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, June 20 in connection with the incidents.
Detective Inspector Laura White said: “Drugs cause nothing but misery in our communities and our officers in the Scottish Borders are committed to using all tools and tactics available to prevent the sale and distribution of illegal substances.
“Local residents play a vital role in helping us take action against the people intent on bringing drugs into our communities. I would urge anyone with information to pass this on to us so we can act on these concerns.
“If you have any information about drugs or the supply of drugs, then please contact us on 101, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
