REPORTS have been ordered into a man who admitted committing four offences in a Borders town.
Nineteen-year-old Adam Kerr, who gave an address in Oban, pleaded guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour in McLagan Drive, Hawick, on March 12 and assaulting a named woman by causing her to fall to the ground and kicking her on the body.
At Hawick Police Station he was shouting and swearing and making derogatory remarks to officers and was in possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knuckleduster.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until July 18 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
