A HAWICK man who admitted trying to break into a local public house in an attempt to steal will be sentenced next month.
Forty-one-year-old Paul Madden of Eastfield Road, pleaded guilty to the offence at the Trinity Bar in Duke Street on January 3.
The case was continued at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until August 1 when Madden has a number of other matters calling.
