THE Braw Lads' Gathering celebrations may be over for another year but it's been a year to remember.
And youngsters in Galashiels were excited to get back to taking part in the Gathering after a two-year hiatus.
One welcome return to Braw Lads' Week was the Principals' visit to local schools.
Braw Lad John Turnbull and his Lass Abbie Hood, alongside their fellow Principals visited 12 schools around Galashiels during Braw Lads' Week.
The schools they visited included:
- Galashiels Academy
- Tweedbank PS
- Stow PS
- St Peter's PS
- St Margaret's PS
- Langlee PS
- Fountainhall PS
- Heriot PS
- Glendinning Terrace PS
- Clovenfords PS
- Burgh PS
- Balmoral PS
