Bradford Council is set to hold regular meetings with Wibsey businesses after receiving a “positive response”.

Neighbourhood staff stopped by Wibsey high street on July 15 for discussions on life in the community and concerns.

These meetings are now set to take place every three months, a spokesperson said.

A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: “During our business engagement work on Friday, July 15 we visited Betfred, the Salvation Army shop, Urban Food Shed, Wibsey Local, We Love Balloons Bradford and Stephen Howard Travel.

“We received a very positive response but it was impossible to visit everyone so we will return every three months to talk with more high street businesses.

“In the meantime, if any businesses would like to chat with us, they can do so by calling 01274 43 1155 or by emailing BradfordSouthAreaOffice@bradford.gov.uk.”
