SENTENCE has been deferred for background reports on a Galashiels man at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Thirty-three-year-old Daniel Hamilton previously pleaded guilty to possession of a knife and theft by shoplifting.
He said he had been using the knife to cut daffodils.
The case will recall on September 5.
