A 41-year-old man who was reported missing from his home in Newtown St Boswells earlier this week has been traced and is safe and well.
Jonathan Buik had been last seen on Monday August 8 and he was last in contact with someone on Monday August 15.
Officers issued an appeal for help including details of a white Vauxhall Astra that he was thought to be driving.
Police have thanked the public for their assistance.
This afternoon a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Jonathan Buik, who had been reported missing from the Scottish Borders has been traced safe and well.
“Thanks to all members of the public for their assistance.”
