POLICE are appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 21-year-old Ben Cameron who has been reported missing from the Scottish Borders.

Ben, who is originally from Clydebank, was last seen in Nenthorn, outside Kelso, around 8.20 pm on Thursday, 18 August 2022.

He is described as white, 5 ft 10, of medium build, with dark hair, has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm. It is not known what he was wearing at the time but he is believed to have a black holdall with him.

Inspector David Rourke, Police Scotland said:“Ben was staying in Nenthorn whilst working in the area, however, it appears that he left the address in the early hours on Friday 19 August, 2022.

“He didn’t let anyone know where he was going but, the fact that he left and hasn’t been at work since or in contact with family and friends is concerning for us all.

“We would appeal to anyone who may have seen him the in the area, or have any knowledge as to his whereabouts to get in touch with police.

"Please call officers via 101 quoting reference number 0471 of Friday, 19 August, 2022.

“We’d also ask Ben himself to get in touch with family, friends or the police just to let us know he is ok.”
