EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a serious crash on the A7 near to Stow.
The crash took place around 8pm and the road has been closed.
Diversions are in place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8pm officers were called to a report of serious road crash involving two vehicles on the A7 near to Stow.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road has been closed.
“There is a diversion in place northbound via B6362 to Lauder then A68, southbound should follow B6368 to Soutra mains, then onto A68. HGVs and other large vehicles are encouraged to use the A68 in its entirety to avoid the diversion routes.”
A further update is expected later.
