A BORDERS man has been fined a total of £400 for two offences at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Fifty-four-year-old Kevin Beveridge, of Jedburgh, was convicted of threatening or abusive behaviour and assault.
Sheriff Peter Paterson noted Beveridge had been of good behaviour during a period of deferred sentence and had also taken action to deal with an alcohol problem.
He fined him £200 on each charge and imposed a £20 victim surcharge.
