AN APPEAL has been launched in a bid to help trace a missing man from Peebles.
Nineteen-year-old James Mercer was last seen at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, September 7, according to police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "James is described as being five foot four inches in height, slim build, short brown hair and brown eyes.
"He was last seen wearing a blue and red Adidas tracksuit and walking boots. He is known to frequent the Peebles, Galashiels and Selkirk areas.
"If you have seen James or have any information as to his whereabouts please contact us on 101 quoting incident reference 3448 of September 7, 2022."
