TWEED valley will be alive with mountain bikers and festival goers this weekend with the return of the TweedLove Bike Festival.

The award-winning event will see the UK’s top riders take to the hills for the British MTB Enduro Championships on Sunday. But there’s plenty for all riders and visitors to enjoy across the weekend.

Everyone is invited to join the easy-going TweedLove Family Ride at 5pm on Saturday and little shredders have the chance to showcase their race skills at the Frog Bikes Family Day on Sunday.

Other highlights include the TweedLove Bike Demo, free kids’ cinema night, Big Bike Film Night and Whyte Bikes Airbag and Pump Track – all available at the festival village on Tweed Green.

The village will also play host to DJs and music and some of the best local food and drink producers in the valley, including Tempest Brewery.

Visitors are invited to come and enjoy festival vibes, a cold beer and as much two-wheeled fun as they can squeeze into one weekend at this year’s TweedLove Bike Festival. Check out the full line-up at: www.tweedlove.com

Event director Neil Dalgleish said: “We can’t wait to welcome riders, racers, locals and visitors to our big weekend!

“The TweedLove Bike Festival is a celebration of all things cycling but it’s also a chance for friends and family to come together. We’ve got a brilliant line-up of races and a festival village that’s free to everyone – we’d love to see as many people as possible come out to enjoy the weekend.”
