THIS season, Scottish Rugby is making the move to a new digital ticketing app.

A new Scottish Rugby Ticketing app will be live soon and to ensure ticket holders receive their match tickets without delay, there will be some actions that supporters will need to complete.

Every Scotland match ticket will be delivered to the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App on each supporter’s mobile device, to be scanned at the turnstiles at BT Murrayfield for entry into the stadium.

The Scottish Rugby ticketing account through which fans purchase their tickets will link these tickets to the new App using the mobile number registered to their ticketing account, so it is particularly important for all ticket purchasers to provide a mobile phone number.

As well as being an integral part of Scottish Rugby’s drive for improved sustainability, access and security, moving to a paperless ticketing system is part of their digital transformation journey to improve the supporter experience on matchdays, which has already seen the launch of the new Virtual Venue facility to help fans buy Scotland tickets.

The new Scottish Rugby Ticketing app is not currently available to download but will be launched soon.

In this first season only Scotland match tickets will be delivered via the Scottish Rugby Ticketing App, Scotland Season Passes will be posted to Season Pass holders early October.

Ticket delivery for Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors remains via digital delivery to ticket purchasers’ email accounts and season ticket cards.

All ticket purchasers for the Scotland Autumn Nation Series matches at BT Murrayfield will receive an email with further information.

More information can be found on the Scottish Rugby website.
