A TYRE garage owner who admitted a case of drug driving on the A68 in the Borders has been banned from the road for 12 months at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Thirty-three-year-old Sean Strachan, of Dundee, pleaded guilty to crossing a double white line at Soutra on November 7 while overtaking.
Police officers pulled him over and he was found to have more than double the limit of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his system.
Herbal cannabis valued at £80 was found in three tubs in the vehicle.
Strachan of Cramond Place, was also ordered to carry out 90 hours unpaid work as part of a Community Pay Back Order.
