TWO people were taken to hospital following a one vehicle crash on the A703 on Saturday night. (October 1 2022)
Emergency services were alerted to the incident around 10.30pm which took place on the road south of Leadburn.
Four ambulances and two fire engines attended and the injured parties were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
No further details of those injured have been released.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 2330hrs to attend a road traffic collision on the A703 on Saturday 1st October.
We dispatched four ambulances to the scene and two patients were transported to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.28pm on Saturday, 1 October to reports of a road traffic collision involving one car on the A703 south of Leadburn.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene to make the area safe."
Police officers also attende the scene.
