POLICE in the Scottish Borders have launched an investigation following a theft from a farm in the region.

The incident took place between 5pm on Saturday September 24 and 6am on Monday September 26 at Thirlestane Farm, Lauder.

 Between these time police say that “unknown persons” entered the farmyard and removed a Power Take Off (PTO) Shaft (with bright yellow cover) from a baler.

Police Scotland haver now appealed for the public’s help with their enquiries.

A spokesperson said: “Did you see or hear anything or do you have any information related to the incident?

“Do you live nearby and have any CCTV cameras at your property?

“Anyone with information is asked to call Duns Police Station Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0750 of 27 September 2022.
