A 29-YEAR-OLD woman who admitted assaulting a police officer and possessing a bladed article has had sentence deferred for good behaviour at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Sarah Scott, who gave an address in Galashiels, pleaded guilty to the offences which happened in September.
Defence lawyer Ed Hulme said there had been a significant reduction in his client’s offending.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said: “I have been told by a psychiatrist that you do not have a psychiatric condition. You must take responsibility for your actions.”
The case will recall on March 6.
