A SELKIRK man has been jailed for 21 months at the town's sheriff court after being convicted of a charge of assault to severe injury.
Thirty-five-year-old Craig Stevens had the prison sentence back-dated to March 7 when he was first remanded in custody.
Stevens also appeared on charges of threatening or abusive behaviour and sending a sexual communication to another without consent.
Sentence was deferred on those matters until February 20 when Stevens will have been released from custody.
