POLICE in the Scottish Borders recovered a quantity of drugs during the search of two premises in Galashiels earlier this week.
Officers from the Scottish Borders Community Action Team (SBCAT) carried out the searches on Monday November 14 2022.
Unspecified quantities of Class A and Class C drugs were found during the operation and a number of people have been reported to the procurator fiscal regarding the offences.
Officers have also issued an appeal to anyone who may have information regarding the supply of drugs in our communities to let them know.

The SBCAT consist of officers funded by Scottish Borders Council on top of the authorised Police Scotland strength for the region.
These officers are tasked to concentrate on quality of life issues affecting the community.
