CLIMATE activists from across the Borders took part in a march through Edinburgh city centre on Saturday.
The 'Global Day of Action' was called by the Climate Justice Coalition, a UK-wide group, in solidarity with CoP27 now under way in Egypt.
The march started at St Andrew Square and the protestors marched first to a number of banks in the city, asking them cancel all debt owed by global south countries.
The march then continued to the UK Government Office on Sibbald Place where campaigners demanded an end to new fossil fuel projects.
The march ended at the Scottish Parliament.
Kate Prasher from Melrose, and Extinction Rebellion Scottish Borders member, said: "The day went very well, with singing, music, drama and plenty of positive energy.
"It was very encouraging to be with so many people from all over Scotland, people of all ages, coming together to demonstrate their concern for the planet. And for all its people."
