A GALASHIELS man has been ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work as part of a Community Pay Back Order after being convicted of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Twenty-six-year-old Jordan Whittaker was also disqualified from driving for 18 months following the incident in the Borders more than two years ago.
At Edinburgh Sheriff Court Whittaker was ordered to resit the competence test before he is able to drive again on the expiry of his ban.
