AN EIGHTY-YEAR-OLD man has died in a fire in a Borders village, according to police.
Officers were called to Grafton Road, in Town Yetholm near Kelso, at around 12.15am on Saturday (November 26).
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15am on Saturday (November 26), officers were called to a report of a fire on Grafton Road, Kelso.
“Emergency services attended, however an 80-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
