A 37-YEAR-OLD man who engaged in a course of conduct which was abusive to his ex-partner has been given a two-year Community Pay Back Order.
Walter Hogg, who gave an address in Galashiels, has been put on supervision and will have to attend the Caledonian Men's Programme as an alternative to imprisonment.
He was also made subject of a Non-Harassment Order for three years barring him from contacting his partner or entering her home.
Selkirk Sheriff Court heard "a catalogue of abuse" Hogg had subjected his ex-partner to after they split up in 2020 and he became angry that she was seeing another male.
Sheriff Peter Paterson told Hogg his behaviour had been "completely unacceptable".
