A MAN and a child have taken to hospital following a two-car crash on the A7 just north of Heriot.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Edinburgh and Galashiels around 5pm on Friday December 2.
Arrangements are in hand to recover the vehicles.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 5pm to a report of a two car crash on the A7 at Heriot.
“Emergency services attended and a man and child have been taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Recovery is being arranged.”
