ROAD closures have been announced to facilitate Doddie’s memorial service and safe movement of guests tomorrow (Monday December 19) 2022.
St Mary’s Road in Melrose will be closed from 10am to 4pm.
To enable safe roadside parking for those attending the service, a one way system will operate along the length of Annay Road (east) and Dean Road (west) from 10am to 4pm.
Additional parking if required may also be found on-street in Melrose and at Wairds Cemetery on the edge of the town.
No waiting restrictions will be in force from 10am along St Mary’s Road and the High Street, from St Mary’s Road to Buccleuch Street.
