Scottish Punk and new wave stalwarts The Skids are making a welcome return to the MacArts in Galashiels on June 15 next year.

The tour has not been officially announced yet but permission has been given to release a batch of tickets before Christmas.
Formed in Dunfermline during the summer of 1977 by Stuart Adamson, (guitar, keyboards, percussion and backing vocals), William Simpson (bass guitar and backing vocals), Thomas Kellechan (drums) and Richard Jobson (vocals, guitar and keyboards).
Their biggest successes were the 1979 single ’Into the Valley’ and 1980 album ‘The Absolute Game.’
This time round they are sure to play hits from their new album Destination Dusseldorf, which will be released in March 2023 on an array of Vinyl, CD and DL.
Collaborating with incredible artists like Youth, Hugh Cornwall and Martin Metcalfe - all fans of the band.
Creativity born from friendship and respect lies at the heart of this new album which the band think will be one of their finest recordings.
The tickets went on sale from 10am Sunday December 18 so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
