THE Selkirk Silver Band have been out in force entertaining the public ahead of Christmas.
Last night it was Tesco in Galashiels and today it was to a packed Asda.

The band played a host of popular Christmas carols and cheered up all the customers that were able to find a parking space this afternoon.
Many shoppers sang along to the festive tunes and were happy to donate their loose change into the buckets.

Funds will go to supporting the band’s young players gain valuable tuition at the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland.
A statement of the band’s Facebook page reads: “Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on, much appreciated”
