SENTENCE has been deferred on a Borders man who was convicted of a number of child sex offences.
Fifty-five-year-old Colin Bouglas, of Hawick, raped and assaulted a child under 13 and was also guilty of two other child rapes.
He is also due to be sentenced for a sexual assault on a child under 13, indecent assault and also lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards a child under 13.
Bouglas appeared at the High Court in Glasgow where the case was deferred until April 11 at the High Court in Livingston to allow a risk assessment to be produced.
He was remanded in custody.
