The A7 at Magdala Terrace, Galashiels will be closed in both directions today Wednesday January 18 2023 to facilitate resurfacing works.
Diversion signs are in place and the alternative route is via A7, A6091, A68, A720 and A7 to point of closure.

Resurfacing work will resume on Monday January 23 for five working days, carried out utilising a convoy system.
Lining works will be carried out on Monday January 30.
Parking restrictions will be in place for the full duration of the works and will coincide with the works timings.

Parking restrictions will apply where signs or no waiting cones are in place
In the event of adverse weather it may be necessary to postpone the works.
