BORDERERS are invited to The Great Tapestry of Scotland Visitor Centre in Galashiels on Friday January 27 for a presentation on Cultural Tourism in the town.
After an independent and systematic year-long survey, which took place during the 2022 tourist season at the Visitor Centre, the results of the research including both the survey results and filmed interviews will be presented BY Professor Claire Wallace of Aberdeen.
The survey results will address the possibility of keeping visitors for longer in Galashiels to help strengthen the regional economy and provide employment for people in the town.

There is no entry fee for this presentation, and everybody is welcome to attend.
