BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Borders man who used a battering ram to cause damage to a woman’s home last June.
Thirty-year-old Jarrid Neil, of Hawick, pleaded guilty to vandalism and attempted hamesucken.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told the woman believed she was in danger when the window was smashed by Neil who was in the company of another person.

After being on remand since last June in connection with the matter, he was released on bail.
Twenty-one-year-old Janssen Neil, from Hawick, had not guilty pleas to the same two charges accepted by the Crown.
