A JEDBURGH man caught with 39.5 grams of heroin at his home has been fined £375 at the town's sheriff court and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.
Police seized the Class A drug at 37-year-old Marcus Cree's home in Bongate on March 23.
The court heard it had been mixed with caffeine and paracetamol and had a street value of between £850 and £1,970.
In addition to the fine he was ordered to pay a £20 Victim Surcharge.
