SENTENCE has been deferred for six months for good behaviour on a man and woman from Selkirk at the town’s sheriff court.
Thirty-eight-year-old Mary Cameron pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and obstructing police, while 20-year-old William Burke admitted threatening or abusive behaviour.
Sheriff Peter Paterson indicated they would be admonished if they were of good behaviour during that period.
The case will recall on August 21.
