TO facilitate wind turbine deliveries works are being undertaken to the Mart Street and North Bridge Street roundabouts in Hawick during March.
From Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March four-way traffic lights will be in place at the Mart Street roundabout to allow for road realignment and the removal of street furniture.

The traffic lights will be in place throughout the period, however Scottish Borders Council has insisted that the contractors manually control these between 7am and 7pm each day to keep delays to a minimum.
From Monday 20 March to Monday 27 March similar works will take place at the North Bridge Street roundabout.

Once again the traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day, but will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm.
Due to the location of these works some delays are likely.
