Jackie added: “I’d like to thank the Winyard family for their kind gesture.”

Jackie’s brother John Tait, from Musselburgh, will be driving the group to the event in his Motor Home where they will stay to help with the expenses.

Brooke said: “I’m so excited and really looking forward to going to Crufts. My friends think it’s so cool.

“I’ve been training with Timmi on astroturf to get him used to the surface and he seems to go even faster.

“But no matter what happens I am so proud of how far we have come and I’d like to thank Mr and Mrs Winyard and family at Stobo Castle for sponsoring us.”
