DETECTIVES in Galashiels are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious assault in the Kenilworth Avenue area.
Around 2.45pm on Saturday March 4,2023, police received a report of a disturbance and found a 31-year-old man injured at the scene.

The man was taken to Borders General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who was in the Kenilworth Avenue area and either witnessed the incident, or believes they saw anything suspicious, to please come forward.
