OFFICERS are appealing for information after reports of fly-tipping in the Borders.
Police Scotland received reports of fly-tipping last week close to the Tweed Bridge in Galashiels.
The incident took place on Friday, March 3.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following a report of fly-tipping on Friday, 3 March, 2023, on the B7060, close to the Tweed Bridge, Galashiels.
"A large quantity of tree cuttings was deposited on the live carriageway. The vehicle suspected of being involved is described as a white flatbed.
"This same vehicle is believed responsible for similar incidents of fly-tipping on the A708 at Foulshiels on 24 February, 2023 and also at the Haining, Selkirk, on 6 January, 2023."
Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1159 of March, 4.
