Tickets for one of the World’s largest cycling events are now on sale - and it’s taking place right here in the Scottish Borders. 

The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships is the largest cycling event in the history of the sport, with 13 separate championships taking place across Scotland this August.

Glentress Forest, near Peebles, will play host to no less than five individual competitions, ranging from the gruelling cross-country marathon to the fast-paced and intense cross-country short track.

The action kicks off on August 06 and runs all the way through to August 12, when the biggest names in the sport will descend on the Tweed Valley for the first time in the sports history to fight it out on the region’s trails for the elusive UCI rainbow stripes - the most prestigious accolade in international cycling.

As well as the cross-country marathon and short track, Glentress will also welcome the cross-country relay, cross-country e-mtb and will culminate with the cross-country Olympic on Saturday, August 12.

There will be lots of ways for the community to get involved and enjoy the festivities that the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships will bring.
