A 40-YEAR-OLD man who assaulted another man on board a bus travelling between Galashiels and Tweedbank has been fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
Roderick Kennedy grabbed the complainer on the body, seized him by the neck, pushed him onto a seat and punched him on the body, on May 6 last year.
Selkirk Sheriff Court heard the pair had been arguing when the other man – who has already been fined for his part in the incident – struck first.
