A 40-YEAR-OLD woman who subjected police officers to derogatory remarks has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next six months.
Elizabeth Stevens pleaded guilty to repeatedly shouting and swearing during the disturbance outside her home in Roxburghe Place, Newtown St Boswells, on October 18, 2021.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told officers had been in the area dealing with another incident when Stevens became abusive to police.
Sentence was deferred until September 11 and Stevens was told she could expect to be admonished if she stayed out of trouble.
